February 2026 TBR

While I did a great job with my priority reads in January, I did abysmally with my physical TBR. That was partly due to traveling, so I prioritized whatever was on my Kindle. And it was partly because of all the terrible news, so I couldn’t concentrate on my picks. Instead I settled for a dystopian read (SUNRISE ON THE REAPING). Hopefully I’ll be able to stick more to my February 2026 TBR. Though, as always, I am a mood reader so I reserve the right to change my reading around. 🙂

February 2026 TBR Priority Reads

Nightshade and Oak by Molly O'NeillThe Trident and the Pearl by Sarah K.L. WilsonThe Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson

NIGHTSHADE AND OAK by Molly O’Neill: I almost forgot I wanted to read this because I didn’t have a physical ARC sitting around, which I thought I’d requested (but didn’t, apparently!). Anyway, I have an e-ARC sitting on my Kindle and this will probably be my first February read since it’s out in the U.S. today. “An Iron Age goddess must grapple with becoming human in this delightful historical fantasy of myth and magic from the author of the instant hit Greenteeth.

THE TRIDENT AND THE PEARL by Sarah K.L. Wilson: This is another ARC, which releases at the end of the month. I haven’t seen many reviews for it yet, but the two I saw had opposing opinions about it. Hopefully I’ll enjoy it, but we’ll see! “A desperate queen makes a deal with the gods to save her land in this spellbinding romantasy debut from Sarah K. L. Wilson.

THE COURTING OF BRISTOL KEATS by Mary E. Pearson: I think I had this in a recent TBR, but I never got around to it. Now I absolutely have to because Fairyloot announced their sale of the sequel is at the end of the month. So I need to know if I like it enough to want a matching edition. “From NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING author Mary E. Pearson comes a THRILLING ROMANTIC FANTASY full of dangerous fae, dark secrets, and addictive romance—the first book in a duology.”

February 2026 TBR Hopeful Reads

Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy

MIGRATIONS by Charlotte McConaghy: I’m transferring this from my January to my February TBR. It’s a library book, so I hope to get to it. But, if not, that’s ok.

I’m not sure what else to put on here in my TBR hopeful reads section. After a 180 in January, I just might play this month more by ear. I hope I get the audiobook back of RAISING HARE on Libby. But I’m in a long-ish wait list. All I want is to finish the last 50 minutes! 🙁

What’s on your February 2026 TBR?

  1. It’s a shame that you can’t get them to just let you have Raising Hare back for a day. It must be so frustrating to be that close to the end of the book

  2. I like the nature/water vibes on your priority TBR ☺️ One priority for me this month is The Hunger We Pass Down, a horror read that I waited several months on hold at the library to finally check out now.

    1. I just started this tonight and at 20% in I’m liking it so far! I have no idea what’s going to happen, but it definitely falls within the sort of quest structure like Greenteeth. Hopefully you can find a copy tomorrow!

  3. I look forward to seeing what you think of both of those arcs. I brought the Bristol Keats sequel without reading book one 🙈 but in my defense I’d only just managed to get the first one in the edition I wanted that month and the sequel was half price as a special edition which I didnt want to miss out on. Now I’m just hoping I’ll love the books 🤞

I hope you enjoy all of these and have a wonderful February 💗 I also hope you get that Libby book back soon.
