We Burned So Bright by T.J. Klune

Today’s review is about WE BURNED SO BRIGHT by T.J. Klune. It’s a standalone novella in which a black hole is about to destroy Earth. The end of the world is the impetus Rodney and Don need to travel cross country to finally do something they put off for years. There are quite a few content warnings for this one, so check them out. That said, I loved this book, as much as one can when it’s about the end of the world.

Daughter of the Otherworld by Shauna Lawless

Today’s review is about DAUGHTER OF THE OTHERWORLD by Shauna Lawless. It’s the first book in the Gael Song: Era II trilogy and follows the story of Isolde in 12th century Ireland. I highly recommend reading the first Gael Song trilogy for maximum impact. Those books are THE CHILDREN OF GODS AND FIGHTING MEN, THE WORDS OF KINGS AND PROPHETS, and THE LAND OF THE LIVING AND THE DEAD. This new trilogy follows some of the same characters and thus contains spoilers for the first trilogy.
