It’s Friday, which is a good thing in and of itself. And with it comes the first of a new month and thus my November 2024 TBR. November also marks another round of SciFi Month, so I’ll try to focus some of my reading on scifi novellas or books.

For those who don’t know, SciFi Month is hosted by Annemieke of A Dance With Books, Mayri the BookForager, Lisa of Dear Geek Place, and imyril at There’s Always Room For One More. Information is on any of their blogs, but in a nutshell it’s an annual celebration of all things science fiction. Feel free to sign up if you’re interested.

Happy Halloween, everyone! I’ve got my bag of candy ready for the kids who show up later today in their costumes. I definitely forgot to carve the big pumpkin we bought, but oh well! It still looks nice as a seasonal decoration, carved or not. Anyway, not only is it Halloween, but it’s also time for my October 2024 book blog wrap-up.

As usual, there was a lot of good stuff to read on everyone’s blogs this month! Plenty of book reviews, some of which I was extra keen to read since I passed on ARC opportunities due to limited time. After a slow yet chaotic reading month (because I had too many books going at the same time), I feel like I’ve hit a stride. I decided to try to focus on only 2-3 books at a time. One audiobook, one on Kindle, and one physical book. It feels good to finally have completed a few books this month.
