I got started a little early with my 2024 fourth quarter book releases roundup. There are quite a few October 2024 releases in my list that interest me. I didn’t find as many December 2024 releases, but as time goes on I hope to add on to this post. But, for the time being, here’s my main pass at a 2024 fourth quarter book release list. If I had the motivation, I would have requested a lot of ARCs in July. But I decided I needed a break to focus on the physical books I bought for myself. Regardless, there are quite a few anticipated 2024 third quarter book releases that I’m looking forward to. Again, I don’t know if I’ll ever get to all of them. But I can still dream.
There are quite a few that I strongly suspect I’ll receive in my book subscriptions. However, I won’t mark those as preorders to avoid spoiling the surprise for anyone. This also played into why I didn’t request ARCs from one of my favorite publishers. Now, let’s take a look at those anticipated 2024 third quarter book releases. With April just around the corner, that means it’s now time for my anticipated second quarter book releases in 2024 list. Like many, I’m sure, I can’t believe how quickly the first quarter of this year flew by. While I’m sad it’s not really reading-by-the-fireplace season anymore, it’s nice to see signs of spring! There are quite a few April and May anticipated releases that caught my eye. June has a smaller selection, though I noticed an intriguing medieval France historical fiction.
As usual, my list of anticipated second quarter book releases in 2024 contains mostly fantasy books. But there are also a few nonfiction and other fiction books scattered throughout. Also, if you want more “anticipated book release” lists, check out mine from the first quarter of 2024.
