I’ve not been around the blogosphere much because we had family in town last weekend. So I was pretty booked up and didn’t even have much time for reading! And after they left we started turning our house into a mess because we’re having hardwood flooring installed upstairs. So most of what’s currently upstairs has to come downstairs. It’s going to be pretty crowded on our lower level for a couple of weeks! Anyway, on to WWW Wednesday…
WWW Wednesday was revived and hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The idea is to answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses.

A CURSE CARVED IN BONE by Danielle Jensen: I’m close to finishing this sequel…less than 10% left! I’ve already listed it on Pangobooks, ha.
THE INFINITE SADNESS OF SMALL APPLIANCES by Glenn Dixon: I started this overdue ARC on Monday night and read over 20% so far. It’s less than 250 pages, so I hope I can finish it in short order. The sad start wasn’t unexpected, but I am eager to see what these sentient household appliances get up to! “In a near future, where even the smallest of appliances are sentient, a young Roomba vacuum sets out to save the humans of her house from a rising technological power in this compelling, original novel.“
Just Finished

NOBODY’S GIRL by Virginia Giuffre: I finished this on Sunday and wow, this woman went through so much. I have such admiration for the strength she found to fight for justice in the end. It’s just so depressing and frustrating to read about how all these people in positions of power abused Virginia and thousands of girls and young women. It was/is pervasive and is an issue across national borders. You can do some internet sleuthing based on dates and the context provided to figure out who some of the unnamed, high-profile billionaire and political figure abusers were. Anyway, I won’t get into the details…that’s for you to decide if you want to learn more.

I am quite behind on ARCs, at least for me. To be honest, I can’t wait to be up-to-date with my ARCs. I’ve really been in the mood lately to just pick from what’s in my house. But I don’t feel like I can freely do that without guilt until I read all my ARCs. So, I think next for me will be ROLLS AND RIVALRY by Kristy Boyce. I’ve really enjoyed the first two in these YA D&D standalone, contemporary romances. So I’m not mad I need to read this. But, just the same, I’ll be happy to cross another ARC off the list.

Good luck with hardwood floors! That does sound like a bit of chaos😁 I’m looking forward to hearing more about the Infinite Sadness of Small Appliances.
Thanks! My review will be up on MOnday in just a few short hours!
Sounds like you’ve had a chaotic week! I’m about to start Rolls and Rivalry, too. Hoping to breeze through it on my upcoming weekend reading retreat so I can get that review up in time lol. I loved her prior books in this series and I was in color guard in high school myself, so hoping this one will be another win for me.
I’ve actually decided to switch my next read to THE GEOMAGICIAN, ha, but I can’t wait to read ROLLS AND RIVALRY, too. I hope you love it, especially since you did color guard in high school. I remember going to the try outs or something for color guard, but decided it wasn’t for me, lol.
Good luck with the renovation!! 💪 I discovered The Infinite Sadness of Small Appliances a couple of weeks ago, and in that same week I discovered another book (a LitRPG one) with a roomba as MC so now, obviously, I have to read them both. I just need the time!!
Also need to know what this LitRPG roomba book is please and thank you!!
It’s “All the Dust That Falls” by Zaifyr
Thank you! I hope you find time to read both the LitRPG and the Small Appliances book!
Well now I need to immediately read about sentient small appliances! I’m on an audiobook kick at the moment so hopefully that version exists!
I think you’d get through THE INFINITED SADNESS OF SMALL APPLIANCES pretty quickly. It’s probably a medium-paced book, but it’s not very long.
