I didn’t think I’d get around to a WWW Wednesday again until next week. But my recovery is going really well so far and I hope it continues to trend in that direction. While I feel mostly “up and at ’em,” typically in the mornings, I’m still not 100%. I have been working a few hours each day so far this week despite scheduling this whole week off, if that’s an indicator of anything! Anyway, let’s get on with it…
WWW Wednesday was revived and hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The idea is to answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses.

LOVE YOU A LATKE by Amanda Elliot: After finishing a somewhat depressing Soviet-era historical fiction, I decided it was time for a lighter read. Plus I’d rather read this when it’s still winter instead of during the summertime. I’m about 60 pages in so far and am enjoying it. “Love comes home for the challah-days in this sparkling romance.“
Recently Finished
MAYA & NATASHA by Elyse Durham:Ā While I’m behind on 2024 ARCs, so far I’m on time with my 2025 ARCs, including this one. This is a solid historical fiction read set in post-WWII Soviet-era Russia. It follows twin sister ballerinas grappling with some fateful decisions. Look out for my review on Monday!
GREENTEETH by Molly O’Neill: I received a physical ARC in the mail for this highly anticipated book. I’m happy to report it lived up to my expectations. My review will be up for this in a couple of weeks!
OPEN SEASON by Ben Crump:Ā I provided a few thoughts about this audiobook a couple of weeks ago. Overall, I think it’s a good book to read to understand the biases/prejudices people of color face in the justice system.
STUCK WITH YOU by Ali Hazelwood: To balance out all the chaos, I listened to another of Hazelwood’s STEMinist novellas. I liked this narrator better than the one for UNDER ONE ROOF, but I liked the latter’s storyline better. I have one more novella to round out this mini series of stories. While they’re sold in one physical book, you can buy each novella individually as an e-book.

STARLINGS by Mike Stark: I might switch to nonfiction for my next read. This is an ARC for a book that comes out on March 1 in the U.S. If I finish this early then that leaves me time this month to start the second book in the TOG series. āHas there ever been a more hated bird than the European starling? Let loose in New York Cityās Central Park by a misguided aristocrat, the starlings were supposed to help curb insect outbreaks and add to the tuneful choir of other songbirdsā¦ā

Yay, I’m so glad you enjoyed Greenteeth!! I have been seeing other reviews and it’s making me nervous. I saw the cover for Maya & Natasha and it’s stunning!
