Not sure why, but June flew by pretty quickly for me. Regardless, for this June 2024 On My Radar, here are a few of the many posts I read and enjoyed this month. Feel free to blog hop around and discover something new!

WWW Wednesday: June 26, 2024

Wow, it’s been over 10 months since I last did a WWW Wednesday post! I (mostly) stopped doing meme posts about that long ago to free up more reading time and reduce stress about posting. However, I want to join in again this week because I have a bunch of books I’ve read for which I don’t plan to write reviews.

WWW Wednesday was revived and hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The idea is to answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses.

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

Sundays In Bed With…You Are Here

Before I get into this Sundays In Bed With meme, I want to provide a little announcement of sorts. Over the next couple of weeks I may seem a little quieter than usual. I may even interact a little less depending on how I’m feeling. This is because I’m doing a Big Life Thing that, if all goes well, will culminate in a short but important operation. I’m ok, and hopefully I won’t endure a ton of unwelcome side effects leading up to the procedure. But it isn’t nothing to put my body through this Big Life Thing. So I’m going to do my best to create a calm environment for myself. And that might mean stepping away more from socials.

I’m hoping that as I progress through the various steps and process the results, then I’ll eventually feel more comfortable to share. But I don’t want to rush myself. While I’m not a superstitious person, I don’t want to jump ahead of myself until I know the outcome. Because it is, as I said, a Big Life Thing and I’ve got all my fingers and toes crossed here. What I’m embarking on is one of many steps to get to a Big Life Goal. I know this is super vague, but trust that I’ll still be around in some capacity. This is also a general reminder that you never know what’s going on behind the curated scenes of someone’s life. So be kind. 🙂

Anyway, on to the Sundays in Bed With… meme. It’s hosted by Midnight Book Girl, dares to ask what book has been in your bed this morning. Come share what book you’ve spent time curled up reading in bed, or which book you wish you had time to read today!

Anticipated Third Quarter Book Releases in 2024

If I had the motivation, I would have requested a lot of ARCs in July. But I decided I needed a break to focus on the physical books I bought for myself. Regardless, there are quite a few anticipated 2024 third quarter book releases that I’m looking forward to. Again, I don’t know if I’ll ever get to all of them. But I can still dream.

There are quite a few that I strongly suspect I’ll receive in my book subscriptions. However, I won’t mark those as preorders to avoid spoiling the surprise for anyone. This also played into why I didn’t request ARCs from one of my favorite publishers. Now, let’s take a look at those anticipated 2024 third quarter book releases. (For reference, you can also view my anticipated 2024 book releases for this first and second quarters, too.)
