March 2026 On My Radar

This March 2026 On My Radar is a little shorter than usual because I took a soft hiatus from blogging this month. I still hopped on every now and then to take a peek at what others were up to. Needless to say, I’m sure I missed a bunch of things, but I still managed to read a few posts. So, happy blog hopping!

March 2026 Book Releases

Just like in February, I have a dozen books to share on my anticipated March 2026 book releases list. This post is up a bit later than I prefer for a book releases list, so I already have a couple of my preorders in hand. I can confirm the cover art on THE LAST STARBORN SEER by Venetia Constantine is beautiful. My March 2026 book releases list is a little less fantasy heavy than usual, so there might be broader appeal this time around. (Although, I know most of my readers veer toward fantasy books.)

March 2026 TBR

I did really well with my priority reads on my February 2026 TBR. I hope to keep that trend going for my March 2026 TBR. My March 2026 TBR is a bit more ambitious because I’d really like to get some ARCs off my plate so I can have more of a choose my own adventure in the spring. Unless someone emails me a very tempting NetGalley widget, I don’t think I’ll go ARC hunting on my own for a couple months.

In fact, I’ve been going back on forth about taking a hiatus from my blog for a month or so. I don’t think I will, but I might not bother with WWW Wednesday posts this month just so there’s one less thing on my to do list. Lately I’ve been going through a lot of mental gymnastics and highs/lows due to circumstances out of my control. And maybe taking a step back from the parts of my hobby that feel kind of like a chore will help me feel more calm. (That and maybe I should just avoid the news altogether. :-()

Anyway, enough of that! Here’s my March 2026 TBR. Some of it is backlist reads and some is ARCs.

February 2026 On My Radar

As everyone knows, February is a shorter month, so it seemed to go by extra fast. But there were still plenty of awesome posts I read to present in my February 2026 On My Radar. I found Amanda’s post about Spotify and Bookshop (below under “Bookish Miscellany”) particularly interesting. Such an odd move for Bookshop, who continue to remain silent about the outrage of their partnership with Spotify. Anyway, have fun blog hopping!

Books I DNF in 2025

This is the fifth year in which I’ve compiled a list of books I DNF, this time in 2025. (For previous DNF lists, check out the ones I compiled in 202120222023, and 2024.) As I mentioned in the past, this is not a “worst of” list. Anyone can DNF at book at any time for any reason. The books I DNF in 2025 were DNF for a variety of reasons. Since joining the bookish community online, my TBR has grown exponentially such that I fully subscribe to the philosophy that life is too short to push through a book I’m not enjoying. So, without further ado, here are the books I DNF in 2025.
