Books I Read In School

I saw Peat post a Top Ten Tuesday about “Books I Read In School.” Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I don’t participate in this popular book meme, but I liked last week’s topic. (I tend to stick with WWW Wednesday posts.) So, there’s a first time for everything! One week late (or arriving precisely when I mean to), here’s the topic “Books I Read In School.”

WWW Wednesday: October 16, 2024

My reading so far this month is very slow. I finally finished a few books that I started a while ago. I doubt I’ll hit the 12+ books I read last month. But that’s ok! I’m just happy that I can keep reading.

WWW Wednesday was revived and hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The idea is to answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses.

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

To Be Read Book Tag

I’m in the mood for a book tag, so I looked through some of the ones I saved over the years. The To Be Read Book Tag, created by Tabitha at Behind the Pages, caught my eye. The rules are pretty simple: link back to Tabitha’s original post and tag as many bookish friends as you like! Tabitha also created the book tag image.

At the end of my answers is the list of prompts for you to use as well. I linked to each book on Bookshop.org. While I’m not an affiliate of theirs, each time you purchase from Bookshop.org it helps support an independent bookstore. If it’s not available on Bookshop.org, I linked to Barnes & Noble (also not an affiliate link).

WWW Wednesday: October 2, 2024

Wow, look at me, three days in a row of posting! Don’t get used to it! As usual, I’m juggling between several different books, just like last week. I read a lot last month and don’t really expect to slow down any time soon since I’m also a judge for the SFINCS competition. WWW Wednesday is a nice way for me to recap some of what I’m reading in real-ish time.

WWW Wednesday: September 25, 2024

Surprisingly, this month is shaping up to be a decent reading month in terms of number of books read. I can thank the SFINCS competition for that since it’s a lot easier to read more novellas than novels in a given month. Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to, more or less, in the past week!
