The last few months I focused on reading from my own stack of physical books. As a result, I haven’t made much progress on any ARCs I received recently. So my September 2024 TBR prioritizes ARCs this time around with everything else categorized as hopeful reads. I had a nice break from ARCs, but it’s time to get back into it with my September 2024 TBR. I know myself, though, so I probably will read some non-ARCs. It’s all about balance.

I had to write this August 2024 Book Blog Wrap-Up a little earlier than usual since I’m in Maine. I decided to leave my laptop behind and travel light. It’s an annual tradition of my husband’s family and I always enjoy the fresh air and Maine-caught lobsters. So this post is mostly accurate with regards to stats and books completed this month. Today’s review is about UNDER THE HENFLUENCE by Tove Danovich. It’s part memoir about keeping chickens and part nonfiction about the influence chickens have on society. This is definitely an interesting read if you have even a minor interest in acquiring pet chickens.
