Well, I basically failed with my May 2025 TBR and only finished two books from that list. Here’s to hoping I do better with my June 2025 TBR! It’s back to the medical crapshoot for me this month, but I hope I can focus enough to knock some ARCs off my list. The ones I plan to focus on are all fantasy, but all quite different, which should keep things interesting.

May was an interesting month! My reading started off okay and then I fell into a bit of a slump during the second half. I also took a trip to the UK, so that impacted how much I felt like reading, too. However, I picked up THE KNIGHT AND THE MOTH this week, which is helping me get out of my slump. This May 2025 On My Radar is a bit shorter than usual for a number of reasons. I took an international vacation for over a week in the UK and wasn’t super present within the book blogosphere. I’ve also been in a bit of a reading slump and as such lacked motivation to do a lot of bookish things. Nevertheless, I did blog hop a little, so please feel free to pay these folks a visit!
It’s the last WWW Wednesday in May and I’m afraid I don’t have much to show for it! It’s been two weeks since my last WWW Wednesday and I finished one novella. Poof. That’s it! This is partially because I took a trip to the UK for nine days. And it’s partially because I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump, which isn’t great because I have ARCs to read. Anyway, let’s get on with it!

Well, I’m back from my nine-day jaunt to the United Kingdom, specifically southwest England and southern Wales. As a result my internal clock is a bit off and I woke up at 5:30 am EDT on the last day of a holiday weekend. Anyway, while in the UK I, of course, set foot in some bookstores. So I thought it’d be fun to do a UK book haul. I was good and restrained myself, though to be honest it wasn’t that difficult because a lot of the books I’m interested in I tend to get from Fairyloot or Illumicrate. But, nonetheless, I brought home a few “souvenirs.”
