October 2023 TBR List

It’s that time again. I’m back with my October 2023 TBR list. I feel like my October reading will be very harried. There are a lot of amazing new releases this month. And while it’s possible I could read all of my October ARCs this month, I forgot about a couple of library holds that I don’t want to push back. Plus I really want to make progress on HOUSE OF EARTH AND BLOOD (finally). And on the side I have SFINCS novellas to read. So, I’ll do my best while giving myself some grace with ARC publication dates. Now, let’s look at what I put on my October 2023 TBR list.

Monthly Book Blog Wrap-Up: September 2023

Even though I decided to take a semi-hiatus from blogging, I still posted 12 times, including this one. Usually I published 15+ posts per month. This time I focused my posts on reviews only and cut out any weekly meme-related posts. Overall it was nice. I found I had more time to read. Now that my efforts to incorporate SEO are paying off, I may continue to focus more on reviews and less on memes. I may still do the occasional meme post here and there. But the truth is all blogging takes up a lot of time, including relatively simple weekly memes.

SFINCS Review: Revelation by J.H. Moore

Today I have a review for REVELATION by J.H. Moore. It’s a prequel novella to The Malfunction Trilogy. This science fiction story occurs on a near-future Earth that is uninhabitable. Humans now live in the subsurface where the government controls all aspects of life. But Cowl seeks to break free of that life and discovers a secret government program that turns humans into fighting machines.
