Goodbye July and hello August! While I didn’t read a ton of books in July because I was on vacation for 2.5 weeks, I posted more reviews than usual. I also finished some ARCs and posted those reviews. It’s always nice to check another off one’s ARC list. Monthly Book Blog Wrap-Up: June 2023
Summer is fully upon me here, meaning a lot of sun, some rain, and even some wildfire smoke. In fact, as I draft this the D.C. area is again experiencing another wave of poor air quality. Currently, my area is in code red (151+ AQI). It also means everyone is awake from their winter slumber and my social calendar is now busier. Typically I see a decrease in my reading during the summer, but I think I’ve just maintained my personal status quo. Now let’s take a look at my monthly book blog wrap-up for June.

March was a slightly more chaotic reading month for me relative to last month. I read a similar amount of books. But I just had a harder time finding the discipline to sit and read what I “should” read, like an ARC and a buddy read. Instead I wanted to go completely off course and do all the mood reading.
