May 2024 TBR

Like April, my May 2024 TBR list continues to focus on my list of ARCs to read. As expected, most of them fall within the fantasy genre and so are perfect to read during Wyrd and Wonder 2024. While this doesn’t change my May 2024 TBR at all, know that this post is also to fulfill the “Mount TBR” prompt prompt. (This year the Wyrd and Wonder prompts are based off of a map rather than held to a more rigid schedule.)

I’m sure I’ll throw in some other random read because that’s what inevitably happens every month. What can I say? I do tend to mood read, which is why I try to be more selective with my ARC requests these days. I’m also trying to make a dent in my physical book backlog. Anyway, here’s my May 2024 TBR list.

April 2024 TBR List

Another month, another TBR! I did pretty well with my March one and read all but two books. For my April 2024 TBR List I plan to focus almost exclusively on ARCs. While I, of course, want to read from my own pile, the following month is quite busy for me. Sure, I can read whatever I want whenever. But I know myself and if I don’t get started on what I can, then I’ll stress myself out.

Anticipated Second Quarter Book Releases in 2024

With April just around the corner, that means it’s now time for my anticipated second quarter book releases in 2024 list. Like many, I’m sure, I can’t believe how quickly the first quarter of this year flew by. While I’m sad it’s not really reading-by-the-fireplace season anymore, it’s nice to see signs of spring! There are quite a few April and May anticipated releases that caught my eye. June has a smaller selection, though I noticed an intriguing medieval France historical fiction.

As usual, my list of anticipated second quarter book releases in 2024 contains mostly fantasy books. But there are also a few nonfiction and other fiction books scattered throughout. Also, if you want more “anticipated book release” lists, check out mine from the first quarter of 2024.

March 2024 TBR List

I already posted my picks for Trope-ical Readathon in March. But let me be honest with myself: I can’t read all of that. Instead, here’s my March 2024 TBR List, which has more realistic expectations.
