Blackwell’s Birthday Purchase

Published on April 6, 2026April 5, 2026 by Celeste17 Comments

I haven’t done a book haul post in years because it takes me a while to create that type of post. I save that time for creating anticipated book releases posts (like this April 2026 book releases one), or I’ll post a snapshot on my bookstagram. However, I’d been waiting a while to make a Blackwell’s post. I saved up titles I’d been eying for a while (or found while browsing their website a few days ago) and made one big purchase for my birthday (last weekend).

I thought it’d be fun to show you all what I purchased, especially because I don’t see these titles promoted at all here in the U.S. In fact, I think there are a few that aren’t even available in the U.S. Books are also slightly cheaper in the U.K., too, even with the conversion rate. Anyway, here’s a list of the fiction and nonfiction titles I snagged in my Blackwell’s birthday purchase!

However, this April 2026 book releases list is a bit more diverse in terms of subgenres. I have some fantasy picks in here as well as some horror (unusual for me!) and some nonfiction. So check them out below!

April 2026 TBR

Published on April 1, 2026March 30, 2026 by Celeste20 Comments

When I looked back at my March 2026 TBR I was shocked to see I’d read all of my priority reads! That made me very happy! I didn’t finish any of my hopeful reads, but I started one of them, THE DEMONIC INVENTIONS OF AURELIE BLAKE by Mara Rutherford. For my April 2026 TBR I plan to carry over some of those hopeful reads. But I also plan to focus on finishing the Throne of Glass series, which is a priority for me before the next ACOTAR book gets published. It’s also my birthday month, so I may treat myself to a Blackwell’s purchase. I have a list of books I’d like so I can put it one purchase and call it a day.

March 2026 Book Blog Wrap-Up

Published on March 31, 2026March 30, 2026 by Celeste11 Comments

In case you missed it, I took a soft hiatus from blogging in March. I still posted a few reviews and blog hopped a little. But for the most part I consciously took a step back. I may write a reflection post about that, to be determined. But overall it was nice to take a small breather. Even though I didn’t blog as much, I still have plenty to share for a March 2026 book blog wrap-up. So below you’ll find what I was up to in March.
