Well, it’s only been about two months since my last Book Blogger Hop instead of eight. So that’s a good start! Let’s jump back in.
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This Week’s Question
What books do you look to for inspiration at the start of the year or to motivate you to make positive changes in your life? (Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
Well, my long-time followers know that I’m a mood reader. The most I typically do to guide my reading is create a monthly TBR list of “priority” and “hopeful” reads. Those “priority reads” usually are ARCs or other books I need to read if, at the time, I’m judging a competition. So, the TLDR answer to this question is I don’t look to any books in particular for inspiration or motivation to make positive life changes.
I read mostly for pleasure. It’s a respite from work and, lately, from other hard things going on in my life. However, there is one overarching category of books I turn to out of a motivation to learn more. I have a big stack of books about women’s health/reproductive rights. They inspire me to stay informed. I hope to make a dent in that stack this year. Wish me luck!
