I did okay on last month’s TBR. But because of my mental funk I only got through half of the ARCs I wanted to read. So I plopped the rest right into my August 2025 TBR. These days I tend to alternate between ARC and mood read so that reading “obligations” don’t feel like a chore. I’m super thankful to receive ARCs, but I always have to remember that I have books to read that I bought, too!

I try not to say this every month, but July truly felt like it went by super quickly, probably because I had a decent amount of things going on. Now that summer is in full swing I also spend more time gardening, which passes the time. I felt kind of restless this month, so most of my reads are via audiobook.
