I started of this month pretty strong by finishing seven books by mid-February. However, I guess my “productivity” kind of fell off a cliff since then because I’ve only finished one book since then! As everyone knows, February is a shorter month, so it seemed to go by extra fast. But there were still plenty of awesome posts I read to present in my February 2026 On My Radar. I found Amanda’s post about Spotify and Bookshop (below under “Bookish Miscellany”) particularly interesting. Such an odd move for Bookshop, who continue to remain silent about the outrage of their partnership with Spotify. Anyway, have fun blog hopping!
Before I jump into WWW Wednesday, I just want to say thank you for all the recent comments on my blog! I apologize for being slow to reply to them. It’s more of a time thing as I’m trying to focus on getting the rest of February’s posts written and published. But I’ve also been getting headaches because I think I’m spending too much time in front of screens. My day job involves using a computer all day and lately I think I’ve been extra focused on computer tasks due to deadlines, so I think I’ve been unconsciously tensing and straining while working. Anyway, the TLDR is I’ll reply to everyone eventually, but thanks for continuing to visit!

This is the fifth year in which I’ve compiled a list of books I DNF, this time in 2025. (For previous DNF lists, check out the ones I compiled in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.) As I mentioned in the past, this is not a “worst of” list. Anyone can DNF at book at any time for any reason. The books I DNF in 2025 were DNF for a variety of reasons. Since joining the bookish community online, my TBR has grown exponentially such that I fully subscribe to the philosophy that life is too short to push through a book I’m not enjoying.
