I’m happy to report that I’ve basically read all but one of my priority reads from my July 2026 TBR. I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done that well with my monthly TBR. Kudos to me!

DAUGHTER OF THE OTHERWORLD by Shauna Lawless: This historical fantasy is my current eyeball read. It’s set in 12th century Ireland and takes place after the events in Lawless’s first Gael Song trilogy.
THE SECRET LIFE OF ALBERT ENTWISTLE by Matt Cain: This is my currently audiobook read. I didn’t get to finish it before it was due at the library, but it’s back in my hands (ears) now!

THE WITCH BELOW THE DREAMING WOOD by H.G. Parry: I finished this ARC while traveling and it was fantastic. I still need to write my review for this, but I loved how Parry incorporated Arthurian legend into this WWII historical fantasy. If you love reading Arthurian retellings, you should definitely read this one. Shout out to Chris for buddy reading this with me!
STRANGE FAMILIARS by Keshe Chow: I read this ARC while on vacation as well and thought it was a fun read despite the whole take down the oligarchy theme. In case you missed my review earlier this week, you can read my full thoughts here.
THE FEYWILD JOB by C.L. Polk: Technically, this was a DNF, which I explain in my book review.

I still need to finish A MARVELLOUS LIGHT by Freya Marske, which I put down because I wasn’t able to finish it before I went on vacation. I’ll also probably hop back to the next Throne of Glass book, TOWER OF DAWN.
I’ve seen so many positive reviews for The Witch Below the Dreaming Wood and it makes me want to read it asap! It’s been a while since I read Marske’s book, but I do remember enjoying it a lot. I hope you love it and all the other books you read this week 🙂 Have a good one!
