I’ve been a bit out of pocket, so this is a scheduled post with my best guess of the progress I’ve made over the past week for WWW Wednesday. So, bear with me!
WWW Wednesday was revived and hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. The idea is to answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses.
What are you currently reading?
What have you just finished reading?
What are you going to read next?

THE WITCH BELOW THE DREAMING WOOD by H.G. Parry: I hope by this point I’ve read a lot of this book considering how much time I’ve spent on a plane. Hopefully future me is enjoying this quite a bit!
Just Finished

EMPIRE OF STORMS by Sarah J. Maas: It was a race against time to finish this book before my trip, but I did it and sacrificed some sleep for it! This book was great. Each one gets better and better. Let’s just say one particular immortal is on my shit list. (Again, no spoilers, please! This is my first read through.)
THE REASON I JUMP by Naoki Higashida: I actually stumbled across this several years ago and finally picked it up via Libby while perusing for something short to read. It was written by an autistic 13-year-old and is in the format of a question and answer session. The focus is on questions neurotypical people may have for autistic folks. It was an interesting read, but I wonder if he was really that introspective or if he was lead to answer in a particular way or if the translation ascribed certain qualities.
Reading Next

THE FEYWILD JOB by C.L. Polk: If I haven’t already started this, then this is what I plan to read next! I think it’s a standalone, which I truly appreciate. “Sparks fly when bitter exes are forced to team up for an elaborate Feywild heist, in this cozy fantasy romance by the bestselling author of the Kingston Cycle and Even Though I Knew the End.“

Looking forward to your thoughts on The Witch Below the Dreaming Wood!
Empire of Storms is my next book in Throne of Glass too although my daughter tells me I should read the prequels at this point. I guess it will all depend on whether the library have them or not. I hope that you are enjoying the H G Parry.
I read the prequels pretty early on. I think the fandom is split pretty evenly about when to read them. I personally didn’t think it spoiled anything and in fact I thought it made certain things easier to understand for Empire of Storms. So yea, I guess you should probably read the prequels now!
The book is on it’s way to me from the library so I will be reading it fairly soon.
Ooh, The Feywild Job looks like so much fun! I’ll have to see what it’s about and probably add it to my TBR, lol. Your current read looks great too—hope you enjoyed it (and are also enjoying your travels)!
Ahhh I hate to say it by I DNF The Feywild Job. *sob*
Enjoy your trip!! I am going to start the Parry book soon! I hope that you are enjoying it!!
Thanks! I loved the Parry book!
I’m looking forward to reading H.G. Parry’s latest book!
It was great! Highly recommend it!
