Happy Tuesday, everyone! I wanted to make a quick post to announce that I’m a panelist for the 2022 Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award (BBNYA)! After some internal deliberation and reaching out for more information, I decided I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to join a team of like-minded individuals. I reviewed or spotlighted a few BBNYA 2021 books earlier this year through The Write Reads. And after enjoying these stellar books I thought it would be fun to help with the selection process!
For those who don’t know what BBNYA is, it’s “a competition for indie authors (both self-published and published by small indie presses).” To learn more about BBNYA, visit their website. Author sign-ups are open through May 28. So there’s still time to enter your self-published or small indie press book into the competition.
I look forward to discovering some new favorites throughout this process. If you’re also a panelist, let me know!

I hope you have fun as a panellist, I know you will be great and the authors will be lucky to have your feedback 🙂
I considered being a panellist but I didn’t know how much time I’d have with law school about to start in the fall :/
Thanks, Mint! Maybe after a year of law school under your belt you’ll have a better feel for the time commitment and, who knows, maybe you’ll be able to be a panelist next year! Good luck with your first year at law school…exciting!
